Agnipath Scheme Recruitment: New of the Central Government Against Agneepath Scheme While the agitation is going on all over the country, the recruitment process in the Indian Air Force under the Agneepath scheme has started from today. Candidates registered for this recruitment will be tested online from 24th July to 31st July. Candidates who qualify in the examination will get a chance to become firefighters.
Training begins on December 30
Candidates registered under the Agneepath scheme for the Indian Air Force will be tested online from July 24 to July 31. This will be followed by a physical test between August 21 and August 28. This will be followed by a medical test from August 29 to November 8. The list of eligible candidates will be released on December 1. After this, their training will start from December 30.
Big opposition to the plan across the country
Corona had delayed the recruitment process in all three armies for the past two years. The central government and the army then announced the Agneepath scheme. About 75 per cent of the soldiers recruited under the Agneepath scheme will have to retire after four years. The plan to hold elections in the army for just four years is being opposed across the country. Students from all over the state have taken to the streets to protest against the scheme. At the same time, political parties have been consistently opposed to the government’s plan. However, the Army has clarified that the scheme will not be withdrawn and further recruitment will take place under it.
‘Ya’ facility for firefighters
According to the Indian Air Force, firefighters will receive the same allowance as regular soldiers. All firefighters will get 30 days off a year. Each firefighter will get insurance cover of Rs 48 lakh. Apart from this, in case of Veergati during the service, about one crore rupees will be given to his family. A canteen facility has also been announced for firefighters. The Air Force has also said that firefighters retiring after four years will be given reservation and priority in various government services.
