Hanuman Birthplace Controversy Lord Hanuman Birthplace Is Kugaon In Karmala Taluka New Claim

Must Read

Hanuman Birthplace Controversy: At present, the controversy over the birthplace of Hanumanta has not stopped, but now the mahants and scholars of Solapur district have claimed that ‘Sugav’ is the birthplace of Hanumanta. Disputes have started at Kishkindha in Karnataka and Anjaneri in Nashik district over Hanuman’s birthplace. For this, a Dharma Parishad was also held in Nashik recently. In it, the claimants of Hanumanta’s birthplace were called with evidence. However, since Mahant Sitaram Ballal presented evidence that ‘Kugaon’ is the birthplace of Hanumanta, where exactly was Hanumantraya born? The puzzle is getting more and more complicated.

The basis of the book Bhima Mahatmya based on Padmapuran

Kugaon is the last village in the Solapur district to be submerged under the Ujani Reservoir. This village used to be called Kurma village, but it is said to have been corrupted later. All of this has come to the fore in several scenes from the earlier film Sairat. It is claimed that Hanumanta was born in this village. Giving evidence of the birthplace of Kugaon, Ballal has taken the basis of Bhima Mahatmya based on the ancient Padmapuran. The journey from the source of the river Bhima to the confluence, the temples on the banks are mentioned in this book. According to this scripture, all the temples like Siddhatek, Nira Narsinghpur, Palasdev, Kurmagaon, Pandharpur are mentioned. In the 33rd chapter of this book, it is mentioned that there are Kurmatirtha and Hanumantirtha at Kugao, in which the Kurma incarnation of Vishnu took place and Ballal claims that there is evidence that Hanumanta was also born at this place.

Should be studied by Indian Archaeological Department

While worshiping Anjani Mata on the banks of the river Bhima, the fruit slipped from the feet of Ghari and fell into the hands of the mother. Claiming that this is the birthplace, he says that he brought some stones from the Hemadpanthi temple of the ancient Hanumanta sunk in the reservoir of Ujjain and installed the same ancient idol in this new temple. There is also an ancient inscription in this temple and it should be studied by the Archaeological Survey of India. According to Ballal, Hanuman’s birth anniversary has been celebrated a day earlier in Kugaon for the last few years.

The truth should be brought to light by examining the claims of all the three places

Ballal said that a proper solution will come out of this only on the basis of ancient evidence and scriptures. While expressing regret that no such rules have been flouted in this Dharmaparishad, we do not want Kugaon to be the birthplace for any funds or help but as it is the birthplace of Hanumanta, now the Archaeological Survey of India is investigating the claims of all three places and bringing the truth to light.
