Nashik Grampanchayat Election : Randhumali election of 88 Grampanchayats in Nashik district did not go down, now again the bugle has sounded for the elections of 194 Grampanchayats in four talukas of the district. Aspirants can submit nomination letter from today. The State Election Commission has announced the schedule of 166 gram panchayats in 82 talukas of the state which have expired and are due to expire.

It includes 194 gram panchayats in four talukas namely Igatpuri, Trimbakeshwar, Peth and Surgana of the district. The election notification was released on Tuesday. After that from today i.e. from 21st to 27th September aspirants can submit application. Meanwhile, there is a possibility of rush to file applications on September 26 and 27 during Navratri, as Pitrupaksa will be held till September 25. Scrutiny of applications on September 28. Deadline for withdrawal is September 30 by 3 pm. Voting will be held on October 13 and counting on October 14.

While the fray of elections in 82 gram panchayats of Kalwan, Dindori and Nashik talukas has just ended, now again the election program has started for 194 gram panchayats of Nashik district. Filing of nomination papers has started from today. Elections are being held in five Surgana talukas of Igatpuri taluka, 57 in Trimbakeshwar taluka and 71 in Peth taluka. Notification in this regard was announced on 13th. Now the actual election program has started. Interested candidates will be able to apply online from today. Candidates can apply here till September 27.

Therefore, even though the application process is going on from today, it is clear that the candidate for Ghatsthalpan will get the time to file the application.
