Police Recruitment: Recruitment of 75 thousand policemen in the state has been done by the state government. In this background, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis have given instructions to complete the recruitment process quickly and transparently. The Chief Minister also gave instructions that there should be a complete transparent process in any situation and no complaint should be received.

Currently 7231 posts have been sanctioned out of total posts announced in the state. Information was given at this time that the process of advertisement for recruitment of the post is going on through the Director General of Police. Meanwhile, physical test will be conducted before the written test at the time of recruitment. For this, 20 grounds in Mumbai have been asked to make complete preparations. At the same time, keep the camera system ready on the grounds.

Big announcement from state government for police, increased casual leave

Meanwhile, the decision to increase the casual leave of police constables to police inspectors in the state from 12 to 20 was also taken in the cabinet meeting held today. According to the recommendation of the fifth pay commission, the state government had decided to grant 8 leaves in a year instead of 12 to the state government employees. Accordingly, 12 days casual leave was granted to police officers as a special matter. However, due to increasing workload on the police, arrangements for various festivals and celebrations, VIP duties, this casual leave was further extended to 20 days as a special matter.
