Must Read

Palghar Rain News Updates: Maharashtra Rain is in full swing across the state. Palghar district is also receiving continuous rains. A shocking video has surfaced from Ashat Palghar. This shocking video has surfaced of a schoolgirl traveling with the help of a tube in a tire on a dangerous stream of flowing river water. This heartbreaking and heart-pounding reality has come to light in Mhasepada village in Malwada Gram Panchayat area of Vikramgad.

The village of Mhasepada is surrounded on both sides by the rivers Gargai and Rakhadi during the monsoons and the villagers have no alternative way to reach the village. There is a small dam on the river. Due to its low height, it is always under water in the rainy season. Therefore, the students have to make a life-threatening journey a few meters away with the help of a tube in the tire of the vehicle.

As the flow of both Gargai and Rakhadi rivers is very fast, the senior citizens of the village help the students to come and go through the river with the help of tubes. But despite the demand for a bridge connecting the village for the last several years, the people’s representatives along with the district administration seem to be ignoring it.

Red alert in Palghar district

In Jawahar, Mokhada, Wada, Vikramgad and Talasari talukas, torrential rains may cause flooding in some places.
