Raju Shetti : Sugarcane conference of Swabhimani Shektar Sangathan, which will be decisive for the price of sugarcane in the state, will be held on October 15. President of the organization and former MP Raju Shetty announced this in Kolhapur. The 21st Sugarcane Conference of Swabhimani will be held on October 15 at Vikramsingh Maidan in Jaisingpur.
Raju Shetty said that the rate of FRP has been 2700 to 2900 for four years, but considering the increased rates of fertilizers, wages, it is necessary to increase the amount of FRP now. The increase in the amount of FRP by the central government ends up in cutting and pulling. Due to the increase in the demand of India’s sugar in the international market, a large amount of sugar has been exported. Also the rates of ethanol and raw sugar are higher. Sugarcane production has decreased in Brazil this year. Therefore, there will be good demand for Indian sugar in the world market in the next year.
In view of all this, it is possible to give increased FRP to sugar mills. Also the farmers must get the amount of the by-products that the factories make. Therefore, the increased FRP and the amount will be decided in the sugarcane conference to be held on October 15. To enlighten about this, ‘Jagar F.R.P.’ This campaign is going to be implemented.
Shetty further said that the then Mahavikas Aghadi government did a huge loss by passing the law to break up the FRP. A demand has been made to the Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis to cancel the decision of the Maha Vikas Aghadi government immediately. Shetty has also warned that he will not allow any sugar factory to open in the state until the one-time FRP is decided, and that we are ready for a street fight."text-align: justify;">Other Important News
